A: Once you register for the test, you will gain access to learning materials to help you brush up on your knowledge and skills.

Q: How much does the CES Selector Certificate test cost?

A: There is no charge for the Certified level test. There is a charge for the Professional and Expert level tests. Contact your Granta representative for more details.

Q: Can I access the learning material after I have passed the exam?

A: Yes, this material remains available for you to access in your elearning account.

Q: What happens if I forget my elearning password?

A: Go to and submit your username or email address. You will receive an email message with instructions on how to access your account.

Q: What happens if I run out of attempts to take the test?

A: You have three attempts to take the test. If you need more, contact to request additional attempts.

Q: Do I need to have access to CES Selector to register for the Certificate program?

A: No, although it is advantageous, it is not necessary to have CES Selector (or CES EduPack) to become a Certified user of CES Selector.

To progress up the levels to become a Professional or Expert user, you must have an up to date CES Selector license.

Q: I have an older version of the CES Selector software. Can I still become a Certified user?

A: The learning materials and tests are created using the latest version of CES Selector. If you have an older version, you can still join the program and take the Certified level tests. However, as new functionality and capability is added to the product with each version, you may find that the test includes questions on features that you are not familiar with.

To register for the Professional or Expert levels, you must have an up to date license of CES Selector. In this case, you will have access to the latest version. If this is not installed on your computer, then you should contact your IT administrator or your company contact for CES Selector.
